Ingredients for making Mirchi Ka Salan
- 500 gms Green chillies
- 1 Large tomato finely chopped
- 1 Large onion finely chopped
- 1 Ginger
- 2 Garlic flakes
- 2 tbsp Roasted cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 cup Tamarind Juice
- 2 tbsp Roasted peanut seeds
- 2 tbsp Coconut grated
- 3 cups Oil
- Salt to taste
How to make Mirchi Ka Salan (Step By Step)
- To make this tasty dish, grind the cumin seeds and roasted peanuts to make a powder. Keep it aside.
- Thereafter, make garlic ginger paste in a grinder. Keep it aside
- Next, fry chilies in oil and keep it aside too.
- In a pan, sauté onions till they turn light brown, and then add tomatoes. Fry for another 4-5 minutes.
- To the above mixture, add ginger garlic paste and fried chilies and mix well.
- Fry for 10 minutes.
- Thereafter, add cumin-peanut powder in it.
- Finally, add salt and tamarind juice in it.
- Mirch ka Salan is ready to serve.
