Spinach Soup Recipe

Ingredients for Spinach Soup
• 2 cups. Spinach, chopped
• 1 no. Onion, chopped
• 1 1/2 tbsp. refined flour(Maida)
• 2 tbsp. Butter
• 2 cups Milk
• 1 tbsp. Oil
• To taste. Salt & pepper
Method to prepare spinach soup
1. Blanch spinach in hot water.
2. Remove and refresh in cold water.
3. Heat oil in a kadhai/wok, add chopped onions and sauté.
4. Add crushed garlic, salt and pepper.
5. Puree together with boiled spinach.
6. Make a thin white sauce by melting butter in a kadhai.
7. Then add refined flour and cook for 5-7 minutes. Slowly add the milk so that no lumps are formed.
8. Add the spinach puree to this and bring it to a boil. Add a little water if required.
9. Serve spinach soup hot.
