Green Pea Soup Recipe
Green pea soup is one of the most liked soups all over. Green Pea soup accompanied with bread is an ideal light-snack or starter. You can try this easy recipe to prepare green peas soup at home
Ingredients for Green Pea Soup
• 1 cup green peas or 250 gms paneer
• 4 Eggs (hard boiled)
• 1/2 tomato (pureed)
• 1 onion
• 3-4 flakes of garlic
• 1-2 green chilies
• 1/2-inch piece of ginger
• 3/4th tsp turmeric powder
• Red chili powder to taste
• 1/2 tsp coriander powder
• 3/4tsp garam masala
• 2tbsp chopped coriander leaves
• 2-3 tbsp vegetable oil / ghee
• Salt to taste
Method to prepare green pea soup
1. Remove the shell of boiled eggs & keep aside. If using Paneer cut into cubes and fry till golden & set aside for later use.
2. Make a paste of onion, garlic, ginger and green chilies in a mixer or chopper.
3. Heat oil in a pan and cook this paste for 2-3 minutes, then add all the spices in it.
4. Now add tomato puree in it. Do not let it stick and burn.
5. Add 3 cups of water in it. Add salt. Cook till you get a thick consistency.
6. Your pea soap is ready. Serve hot
