Cream Of Spinach Soup Recipe
Cream of Spinach soup is a soup which is made combined with spinach. The end result that you get is the nutritious, mouth licking and healthy starter. Now, it’s time to taste the yummy cream of spinach soup…
Ingredients :
- Spinach – 1kg
- Butter – 2tbsp
- Onions- 2tbsp, grated
- Flour – 2 tbsp
- Chicken Stock – 3 cups
- Milk- 1 cup
- Nutmeg – grated
- Cheese- grated
How To Prepare Cream Of Spinach Soup:
1. Take spinach and boil it. Cool and liquidise it to form 2 cups of it. Keep aside.
2. Take a kadhai/wok and heat butter in it. When the butter is hot add onions to it and fry till they become soft.
3. Also add flour and fry it a little. Avoid being brown.
4. Add chicken, spinach, salt and pepper to it and cook on slow flame for about 15 minutes.
5. Liquidise the soup and put it back to the pan. Now add milk and grated nutmeg. Cook for a minute.
6. Cream Of Spinach Soup is ready to be served. Garnish with cheese before serving.
