Aloo Bonda Recipe

Aloo Bonda is a snack most popular in Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra and Western India. It is one of the popular Indian Chats. Foa all those who love Alu Bonda, we have given an easy recipe. Now its time to taste the delicious alu bonda. For that, all you have to do is to follow the steps carefully that will help you to prepare aloo bonda easily.
Ingredients for Making Alu Boonda :
•     Boiled and Mashed Aloo (Potatoes)- 2 large
•     Gram flour – 1 cup
•    Oil for frying
•     Green Chilies – 2 ,chopped
•     Coriander leaves – 1tbsp, finely chopped
•    Garam masala – ¼ tsp
•    Salt to taste
•    Red chili powder- to taste
•    Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp

How To Prepare Aloo Bonda:

1.    Take a bowl and put aloo in it. To it add garam masala, green chillies, salt, chilli powder and coriander. Mix them well. Keep aside.

2.    Now take another bowl and mix turmeric powder, gram flour, chilli powder and salt properly. Now add small quantity of water and prepare a batter. Make sure that the batter is neither too lose nor too thick.

3.    Now take the potato mixture and make small balls out of it.

4.    Now take a kadhai/wok and heat oil in it. Dip the balls into the batter and when the oil is hot deep fry them till they become golden brown in colour.

5.    Aloo Bonda is ready to be served. Serve hot. Alu Bonda goes well with chutney.
