Microwave Matar Paneer is nothing but a slight variation of mutter paneer made using microwave. It is an easy to make dish. Microwave Matar Paneer is rich in protein, vitamin and energy. Learn this easy recipe of microwave paneer matar.
Ingredients for making Microwave Matar Paneer:
- 6”-7” round dish or 2” high with cover
- 100 gm paneer-grated
- 1 cup shelled peas
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 medium size onion
- 1-2 green chilies
- ½” piece ginger
- 6 tbsp ready made tomato puree
- ¼ tsp red chili powder
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp garam masala
- Cashewnuts-optional
- Salt to taste
How to make Microwave Mutter Paneer:
- First of all grind together onion, green chilies, ginger and fry this masala for 4 to 5 minutes in a non-stick pan
- Then add tomato puree, cumin powder, garam masala, peas and sprinkle 1 tbsp water.
- Then and transfer this into a micro dish and micro high for 3 minutes.
- Then add salt, grated paneer 5 tbsp, water and cashewnuts and mix gently.
- Now cover the dish and again microwave for 2 minutes and stand for another 2 minutes.
- At the end garnish with coriander and green chili and then serve.
