Baigan Masala
Baigan Masala is an easy dish to prepare. It can be had with the main course with rotis and paranthas. Here is an easy recipe for Baingan masala to help you prepare brinjal masala sabzji. Follow the steps and savour the taste of Baigan masala.
Ingredients for making Baigan masala:
• ½ kg brinjal
• 2 tbsp oil
• 3 to 4 onions
• 1 tsp jeera
• 2 tbsp grated coconut
• 1 garlic cloves
• Small lump of tamarind
• ginger
• 2 tbsp chilli powder
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp turmeric powder
• 1 tbsp garam masala powder
How To Prepare Baigan (Brinjal) Masala :
1. Take onions, coconut, chilli powder, garlic, turmeric, ginger, tamarind, salt jeera and garam masala and grind them in a mixer without adding water to it.
2. Now take a pan and heat oil in it. Fry the mixture in the pan for sometime. Remove it from flame and keep it aside to cool.
3. Now take the brinjal and make a slit in it. Fill the brinjal with the mixture. Now take a kadhai/wok and heat oil in it. Cook the stuffed brinjal in it. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
4. Brinjal Masala is ready to be served. Goes well with chappatis or rotis.
