Aloo Badi Recipe
Aloo Badi/badiyan is one of those dishes which almost every Indian likes. Aaloo Badi can be eaten with parathas and rice. We are providing an easy and step by step recipe to help you prepare Aaloo Badiyan.
Ingredients for making Aloo Badiyan
• 500 gm Aloo (potatoes) – peeled and boiled
• 5-6 Badiyan
• 1 tsp cumin seeds
• 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
• 1/4 cup yogurt- smoothly beaten
• 1 tbsp salt
• 2 tbsp oil
• 1 tbsp coriander leaves
How to prepare Aloo Badiyan
• First of all mash the boiled potatoes with the help of masher and then heat oil in a karai and put badis in it, fry them, till they become dark brown in color, remove them from oil.
• Now, add cumin seeds in the oil and when it splutters, add the potatoes and fry them for 2 minutes, then add turmeric powder, salt and badis and fry at low heat for a few minutes.
• After ensuring that every thing is fried properly, add enough water to cover the potatoes and badis bring to a boil and simmer, till the badis get soft.
• Now put the smoothly beaten yogurt into wok and mix it well.
• Your rasedar Alu badi is ready now, garnish it with coriander leaves.
• Serve rasedaar aloo badia with parathas or rice.
