Kofta Biryani Recipe

We all have tried chicken, mutton and vegetable biryani. Now its time to experience  a new taste. We provide you with steps to prepare kofta biryani. Follow the steps carefully and have a mouth licking experience…

Ingredients :

•    Basmati rice
•    Cabuli chana
•    2 tomato
•    2 tbsp milk cream
•    ½ pack mozzarella cheese
•    1 green chilly
•    2 pieces bread
•    Salt to taste
•    1″ ginger
•    ½ onion cut in to small pieces
•    ½ tsp jeera powder
•    1 tsp chilly powder
•    3 tbsp oil & ghee
•    2 cloves garlic
•    1 tbsp onion paste
•    ½ cup saffron soaked in milk
•    1 tsp biryani masala

How To Prepare Kofta Biryani:

1.    First take cabuli chana, green chilly, salt and ginger and blend them into a paste.

2.    Now add two pieces of bread and mozarella cheese to the mixture and prepare a dough. Make small balls of the dough and bake them at  for 30 minutes in oven at 350ºC. Keep aside.

3.    Now take a pan and heat oil in it. Now add onions to it and fry it for some time. Then add tomato, chilly powder, jeera, ginger, garlic, biryani masala and turmeric powder to it.

4.    Let the masala fry for some time and then add water to it and bring it to boil. Now add the baked koftas and cook for few minutes on moderate flame. Switch off the flame after that.

5.    Add cream to the koftas. Prepare basmati rice seprately.

6.    Now take a baking dish and grease it with ghee. To it add few tejpatta and place one layer of rice, spread it evenly. Now place one layer of kofta with gravy and then again place one layer of rice.

7.    Now add saffaron soaked in milk and the sprinkle ghee on top of it. Now cover the dish with aluminium foil. Place it in the oven at warm for about half an hour.

8.    Kofta Biryani is ready to be served. Serve hot.
