Paneer Taash Kabab is a type of dish that can be made in a short time and grilled quickly when you’re ready to eat. It also makes a great appetizer. Paneer Taash Kabab is certainly a great alternative for vegetarian. Try this melt-in-your-mouth Paneer Taash Kabab with Mint-Coriander chutney.
Ingredients for making Paneer Taash Kabab:
- 1 tbsp fresh cream
- 8 cheese sliced
- 1 cup cheese grated
- ½ tsp peppercorn crushed
- 2 medium sized tomatoes sliced
- 8 tbsp mint chutney
- 2 medium sized onion sliced
- 400 gms cottage cheese
For marinade
- Chaat masala to taste
- 1/3 cup hung curd
- 2 tbsp mustard oil
- 4 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 2 tsp red chili powder
- Salt to taste
How to make Paneer Tash Kabab:
- First of all slice paneer into seven pieces.
- Then mix well all the marinade ingredients and spread evenly on the cut paneer.
- Now keep aside for 10 minutes.
- Then spread mint chutney evenly on cut paneer.
- Now assemble cut onion and tomatoes on each cut paneer and cover with the cut cheese.
- Then stack each layer of cut paneer one on top of the other, by repeating the process.
- Then make a mixture of cream and crushed black pepper and pour out over the top layer.
- Now put the last cheese slice on top, bake at moderate temperature for 10 minutes in the oven.
- At the end cut into desired equal sizes.
