Paneer Makhani
Paneer Makhani or butter paneer masala is a spicy, rich and flavoursome dish. It is a north Indian dish made with Paneer (Indian cottage cheese) and cooked in creamy tomato gravy. Here is a step by step recipe for Paneer Makhani or butter Paneer msala.
Ingredients for making Paneer Makhani:
• 200 ms paneer
• 6 tbsp half & half cream
• 4 tbsp tomato puree
• 1 med. capsicum
• 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1″ grated ginger
• ¼ cup water
• 1 tsp butter
• Salt to taste
• ¼ tsp pepper
How To Prepare Paneer Makhani :
1. Take a kadhai and for 25 seconds heat butter in it. When butter is hot add tomato sauce and tomato puree and stir well.
2. Keep stirring and add water to it. Now add capsicum and cook it for around 3 minutes. Now add ginger, salt, pepper, sugar and paneer to it.
3. Cook for two minutes more and add cream to it. Stir continuously and cook for another minute.
4. Paneer Makhani is ready to be served.
