Paneer bhurji is like a snack. It is one of the most well known types of Paneer dishes. Paneer Bhurji is similar to scrambling only it’s not egg but crumbled paneer. It’s not only immensely delicious and hearty, but also easy and quick to make. Try this easy to make paneer bhurji!
Ingredients for making Paneer Bhurji:
- 200 gms paneer
- 1 tbsp oil
- ¼ tsp cumin seeds
- 2 green chilies
- 1 small onion
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 small tomato
- ½ tsp salt
How to make Paneer Bhurji:
- First of all chop the onion, tomato and chilies finely.
- Then heat oil in a deep bottomed pan; add cumin seeds, chopped onion and the ginger-garlic paste fry till brown.
- Now add the chilies and tomatoes and fry till they are soft and pulpy.
- Then add turmeric powder, garam masala powder, salt and little water so that all the masalas are well combined.
- Now add grated paneer and fry for 5 minutes till the paneer blends into the masala.
- At the end garnish with coriander and serve hot.
