Achari Paneer Recipe

Achari paneer is a bit different dish of paneer with different taste. Achar is a name that brings water in your mouth. I’m sure you will enjoy Achari paneer a lot. This recipe is so spicy like many of the Indian foods. Here is an easy recipe to help you to learn how to make achari paneer.  

Ingredients for making Achari Paneer:

• 400 gm paneer (cut into 2/2 squares)
• ½ green capsicum (diced)
• ½ yellow capsicum (diced)
• ½ red capsicum (diced)
• 2 cherry tomatoes 

For garnishing: 

Jeera rice (to serve with) 

For gravy: 

• 2 tbsp oil
• 1 tsp garlic paste
• 1 tsp ginger paste
• 2 tbsp red chili paste
• 2 cups tomato puree
• ¼ tsp kasoori methi
• 2 tsp mango pickle (chopped)
• ½ tsp red chili powder
• 1 tsp garam masala
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp coriander leaves chopped 

How to make Achari Paneer:

1. First of all cut the paneer and capsicum and keep aside.
2. And now for the gravy-heat oil, add ginger, garlic and red chili paste, tomato puree.
3. Then all powdered spices, salt to taste kasoori methi and simmer for 8-10 minutes.
4. Then add in the paneer and peppers and mix well.
5. Then add in chopped pickle and masala.
6. Now in a serving plate serve the jeera rice with the masala paneer and peppers.
