Mango Lassi

Mango lassi is popular especially in the summers. Also known as Mango milk shake, it has great taste and flavour. Since India is the land of mangos, there are several hundred varieties of mango so you can alter the variety and get a new taste every time. Here is an easy recipe for helping you prepare the Indian mango shake or Mango lassi. 

Ingredients for preparing Mango Lassi 

  • 1cup peeled and chopped Ripe Mango
  • 1 cup Curd
  • 2 tsp Sugar or to taste
  • Few Ice-cubes
  • 1/4th tsp Cardamom Powder (optional) 

How to prepare Mango milk Lassi 

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
  2. Strain through a sieve or muslin cloth, pushing as much liquid as possible.
  3. Serve in glasses with crushed ice.
