Besan roti is a great accompaniment for any Indian curry. Besan ki roti is a traditional Indian dish which has been eaten for centuries. Discover how to make Besan roti using our easy Besan roti recipes.
Ingredients for making Besan roti

• 2 cups Gram Flour (Besan)
• 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour (Atta)
• Butter / ghee for serving
•  water to make dough
How to prepare Besan roti

1. Put the wheat flour and gram flour in a bowl, mix them and Knead with the help of water, making pliable dough.
2. Cover the dough with a cloth and keep it aside for 15-20 minutes
3. Divide the dough, by making small round balls from it.
4. With the help of roller (bailan), pastry board (chakla) and dry flour, roll them into thin rounds of about 5-6″ in diameter
5. Pre-Heat griddle (tawa) and place the rolled chapatti on it. When dry on one side, turn it.
6. Butter the besan roti generously and serve hot with lentils, vegetables or curries.
