Ingredients for making Shahi Fish:
- 2 Fishes (head and tail removed)
- 6 Garlic Flakes
- 2 Onions (chopped)
- 1 tbsp Fresh Cream
- 1 /4 tsp Asafetida
- 1 /2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- Oil for frying
- 5 tbsp Oil
- Salt to taste
Make Paste of:
- 7 Cashew nuts
- 1/2 tbsp Poppy Seeds
- 1 Ginger
- 1 /2 Dry Coconut
Make Powder of:
- 1 tsp Cumin Seed Powder
- 2 tsp Coriander Powder
- 2 tsp Red Chili Powder
- 1 /2 tsp Turmeric Powder
How to make Shahi Fish:
- First of all, cut fish into pieces, wash them and drain water.
- Now, take a wok and add oil in it.
- Fry the fish pieces in it and fry until golden brown.
- Now, place them out of the pan.
- Now, heat 1 tbsp oil in same wok.
- Sauté onion in it till they are done. Then remove it and keep aside.
- Now, add cumin seeds and asafetida to the remaining oil.
- Now, mix in the prepared paste and fry for 2-3 minutes. If requires add little water.
- Now, mix in salt and powdered mixture.
- Stir fry the mixture for some time and then place the fried fish pieces.
- Finally mix in cream and coo for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!!
