Ingredients for making Pomfret Fry:
- 3 Pomfret fish, washed and cleaned
- 3 Green chilies slit
- 1 Cup fresh coriander leaves, washed and chopped
- 5-6 Cloves, garlic
- Oil for frying
- 1/2 Cup lemon juice
- Lemon slices, onion rings, to serve, green chilies for garnishing
- 1-1/2 tsp Salt
How to make Pomfret Fry:
- First of all, take fish, chop off the tail end.
- Now make 3-4 incisions on each and keep it aside.
- Now, combine together coriander, chilies, garlic, salt and lemon juice in a grinder and grind to a fine paste.
- Now, marinate the fish on both the sides with above prepared paste.
- Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
- Now, take a wok and heat oil in it.
- Now, place fish in oil and shallow fry it on each side.
- Fry until brown.
- Now, place them on paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve garnished with green chilies, onion rings and lemon wedges.
- Enjoy!!
