Pomfret fry is very simple and easy to make!! Pomret Fry is healthy and deliciously tender dish. This is really mouth watering. So give this easy fish recipe a try – you won’t be disappointed. Try this easy to make Pomfret Fry recipe and enjoy!! 

Ingredients for making Pomfret Fry:

  • 3 Pomfret fish, washed and cleaned
  • 3 Green chilies slit
  • 1 Cup fresh coriander leaves, washed and chopped
  • 5-6 Cloves, garlic
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 Cup lemon juice
  • Lemon slices, onion rings, to serve, green chilies for garnishing
  • 1-1/2 tsp Salt 

How to make Pomfret Fry:

  1. First of all, take fish, chop off the tail end.
  2. Now make 3-4 incisions on each and keep it aside.
  3. Now, combine together coriander, chilies, garlic, salt and lemon juice in a grinder and grind to a fine paste.
  4. Now, marinate the fish on both the sides with above prepared paste.
  5. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
  6. Now, take a wok and heat oil in it.
  7. Now, place fish in oil and shallow fry it on each side.
  8. Fry until brown.
  9. Now, place them on paper towel to drain excess oil.
  10. Serve garnished with green chilies, onion rings and lemon wedges.
  11. Enjoy!!
