Patrani Machi is a wonderful variety for all those who love fish. Fish is topped with coconut-cilantro chutney and wrapped in banana leaves. That is a wonderful flavor addition to the fish fry…Try this easy to make Patrani Machi recipe and enjoy!!
Ingredients for making Patrani Machi:
- 2 Fish (washed and cleaned)
- 10 Green Chilies
- 1 bunch Mint Leaves
- 1/2 cup Coconut, grated
- 10 Cloves Garlic
- 1 large Onion
- 1 bunch Coriander Leaves
- 2 Lemon
- Banana Leaves
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- 2 tbsp Cumin Seeds
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Sugar
How to make Patrani Machi:
- First of all, combine together onion, garlic, chilies, grated coconut, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, mint, salt and sugar in a grinder and grind to a fine paste.
- Now, slice the fishes into halves.
- Next, apply the above made paste on the fish piece.
- Now, sprinkle lemon juice over it.
- Thereafter, take banana leaves, heat it on both the sides and wrap fish piece in it properly.
- Now, tie it with a thread.
- Thereafter, place fish on the greased baking tin and spread little ghee over each piece.
- Bake it for about 15 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!!
