Machhi Ka Salan is a popular fish dish enjoyed by people all over. Worried how to prepare Machli Ka Salan? relax, just follow this easy recipe to prepare a truly mouth-watering Machhi Ka Salan.
Ingredients for Cooking Machli Ka Salan:

• 500 gms fish cut into slices
• 1 onion sliced fine
• 1 coconut grated
• 1 tsp mustard seeds
• 2 tsp til
• 2 tsp dhania powder
• 2 green chilies
• 1 tsp jeera
• 1/2 tsp haldi
• 2 tsp chilli powder
• salt to taste
• 3-4 tbsp oil
• 2 tsp khus khus
• few curry leaves
• lemon size tamarind

How To Prepare Machhi Ka Salan:

1. Grind dhania, khus khus, til, mustard, chili powder, 1 tbsp grated coconut, garlic, haldi and 1 onion to make a fine paste.

2. Take the grated coconut and extract 2 cups milk from it and extract the pulp from tamarind soaked in 1 cup of water.

3. Heat oil in a pan and fry 1 sliced onion in it till it becomes crisp. Add masala paste to it and fry till onion separates.

4. Add fish pieces to it and fry it for sometime. Then add coconut milk and salt to taste. Also add curry leaves. Cook on low flame till its nearly done. Add tamarind water and simmer for sometime.

5. Machhi Ka Salan is ready to be served.
