Goan Fish is one of the favorite dishes of people in Goa. Goan Fish bears on it the typical Goan taste, which is indeed great. Dont worry, just follow these easy steps to prepare your delicious Goan Fish. We provide you with this easy Goan fish recipe to help you make it more delicious.

Ingredients:

• 2 pomfrets
• 1 grated coconut
• 3 tsp tamarind water
• 4 flakes garlic
• 1 onion
• 8 pieces red chillies
• 1/2 lemon
• 2 green chillies
• 1 tbsp salt
• 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
• 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
• 1 tbsp coriander leaves
• 5 cups water

How To Prepare Goan Fish:

1. Clean and cut the pomfret in serving sizes. Mix salt and lime juice and marinate the fish in it for 10 minutes.

2. Make a paste by grinding coconut, garlic, turmeric, cumin seeds, coriander leaves, water and tamarind water. Place the paste on fire.

3. Add slit green chilies and sliced onion to the gravy and let it boil. Now add the marinated fish to it.

4. If fish is boneless give it one boil but if its with boil give it 2-3 boils.

5. The Goan Fish is ready to be served. Serve hot with unpolished rice.
