Egg Paratha
Egg paratha is a combination of traditional Indian parathas and egg. Paratha is an unleavened, pan fried Indian flatbread. When the 2 combine, it makes a great combination. Here is an easy recipe to help you prepare Egg parathas using our easy Egg paratha recipe.
Ingredients for making Egg paratha
• 4 Eggs
• 2 cups of Wheat Flour
• 1 Capsicum (chopped)
• 1 Tomato (chopped)
• 2 medium Onions (chopped)
• 1 tsp. Red Chilli Powder
• A few strands of Fresh Coriander/Cilantro Leaves (chopped)
• Salt (to taste)
• 2 tbsp. Cooking Oil
• Clarified Butter (Ghee)
How to prepare Egg parantha
1. Put the wheat flour in a bowl, mix them and Knead with the help of water, making soft dough. Add 2 tbsp. clarified butter or butter to the dough and knead some more.
2. Cover the dough with a cloth and keep it aside for 15-20 minutes
3. Take oil in a frying pan, heat oil until hot.
4. Add the chopped onions and sauté till it turns golden brown and translucent.
5. Now add the capsicum and tomato, sauté for another 2-3 minutes. Add chili powder, salt and eggs. Mix well. Sauté till everything gets mixed.
6. Add the coriander/cilantro leaves; mix them, take off the flame and keep this egg mixture aside.
7. Divide the above prepared dough, by making small round balls from it. Roll each ball into a round roti with the help of roller.
8. now stuff the prepared egg mixture in between two rotis
9. Roll it a little and fry both sides well in clarified butter or butter.
