Sweet Fruit Chutney

Sweet fruit chutney is a good serve for lunch or dinner. It makes a different taste on yours and your guests tongue. Sweet fruit chutney goes well with paratha and many other such preparations. Try this easy to make sweet fruit chutney and enjoy your food! 

Ingredients for making sweet fruit chutney recipe:

• 120 gms whole amchoor (dry mango slices)
• 4 teacups water
• 180 to 200 gms sugar (cheeni) ( 1 ¼ or 1 ½ cup)
• ½ tsp ground spices
• ½ tsp black salt (kala namak)
• 1 tsp white cumin powder
• Salt (namak) to taste
• 2 tsps red chili pepper (lal mirchi)
• 1 tsp dry ginger (sonth) powder
• 60 gms fresh ginger (adrak), sliced (2 tsps)
• 4 bananas (kela)
• 4 tsps raisins (kishmish) 

How to make sweet fruit chutney:

1. First of all soak the whole amchoor in water overnight.
2. Then cook it in the same water until tender.
3. Then cool it and pass through a sieve.
4. Now add salt, chili powder, white cumin powder, dry ginger, fresh ginger slices and black salt dissolved in a little water and mix well
5. At the end add sliced bananas raisins soaked in water and mix  well
6. Serve it at lunch or dinner.
