South Indian chutney is mostly used with south Indian dishes like idli, dosa, uttapam and many other such preparations. You will also enjoy this with some other preparations. Try this easy to make south Indian chutney and enjoy your food!
Ingredients for making south Indian chutney:
- 120 gms chana daal
- 4 tsps ghee
- 10 green chilies (hari mirchi)
- 1 coconut (narial), fresh
- 2 tsps whole mustard
How to make south Indian chutney:
- First of all fry daal and green chilies until light brown.
- Then grind coconut, fried daal and green chilies finely.
- Now add salt and fried whole mustard in 2 tsps of ghee.
- Serve with dosa. Sufficient for 12 to 14 persons!
