Garlic Chutney is popular in India for hundreds of years. Garlic/Lahsun is a widely cultivated perennial herb in India. The bulb with its pungent taste is used in cooking lots of spicy dishes in Indian sub-continent. Lahsun ki chutney makes your food much tastier. Here is an easy recipe to help you learn how to prepare garlic chutney.
Ingredients to make garlic chutney:
- 4 garlic pods
- 20 red chilies, roasted
- 2 cups grated coconut
- 4 tsp oil
- A little tamarind
- Salt to taste
How to make garlic/lehsun chutney:
- First of all sauté the garlic, coconut in oil.
- On the other side make tamarind pulp by soaking tamarind in some water for 2 hours and then straining.
- Then grind the sauté mixture with roasted red chilies and tamarind pulp.
- At the end add the garlic and salt and grind once again to a smooth paste.
