Moong dal vada or Moongode is a Rajasthani dish. It is eaten as an appetizer or a side dish. Apart from grown-ups, kids like it too. These small moong dal vadas are easy to prepare and taste really good. Moong Dal Vada can be served as a tea-time snack or taken as a part of your meal. Try this easy to make recipe of moong dal vada!
Ingredients for making Moong Dal Vada:
- 300 gms Moong Dal
- 25 gms Chopped Coriander
- 5 gms Cumin Seeds
- 1 Star anise
- 8 – 9 Green Chillies chopped
- 50 gms Onions
- Salt to taste
- Oil to fry
How to make Moong Dal Vada:
- First of all soak the moong dal in water for a couple of hours.
- Then grind it properly to form a smooth paste.
- Now blend it with chopped onions, chillies, and corainder and cumin seed.
- Now check the salt seasoning and deep fry till golden in color.
- Finally serve with green chutney.
